I'm not very good with plant names, especially Australian natives. But this is a grevillea of some sort (please correct me if I am wrong) and it's pretty! We try to grow mostly water wise plants in our garden.
No, no, dear, Grovellers, these wretched things are called, specially if they are like Lynne's, and have nasty sharp spikey bits on their tips!! Grovel is what you have to do to get near them! At least yours has v. pretty colours - if I dyed, that's he sort of thing I would aim for.
